We are pleased to offer assistance with shipping items both within the UK and Worldwide.
For canes and smaller items that we are able to pack and ship ourselves, we can undertake this shipping for you. In-house packing and shipping is charged at cost, and we will provide you with options and quotations in advance. Please note, customers use our in-house shipping on the full understanding that we are not professional packagers and do not accept any liability for any loss or damage once the Item has left our premises.
For larger items, or items with more complex shipping requirements, we are happy to send you contact details for professional packing and shipping specialists who will be able to assist you directly.
If requested, we can source quotes from third-party packers and shippers on your behalf and arrange for them to collect your Items. We do not accept any responsibilities whatever for any third-party, whether or not we recommended their services.
If the Item contains ivory or other material from an endangered species, it will require a Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Floras (CITES) export permit to permit departure from the UK.
You are responsible for securing the relevant CITES export permit(s), unless we agree in writing to make the application on your behalf at cost. Please note we can only assist you with the application process - we cannot guarantee that your application(s) will be approved.
You are also responsible for confirming the relevant CITES import permit(s) (if any) required by the CITES authority in the destination country. You are also responsible for confirming whether any further Wildlife Protection authorities in the destination country require import documentation, and to secure these before starting the export process.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, neither the sale of the Item nor payment of the Purchase Price is conditional upon a CITES or other relevant Wildlife Protection authority granting the relevant export and import permit(s). CITES permit application and issue times can be lengthy, as can CITES customs checks, and we are not responsible for any additional costs, expenses, liability or loss you may incur if Item export or import is delayed by CITES or any other Wildlife Protection legislation.
You will be responsible for any and all taxes relating to the Item, including but not limited to any export tax, and any import tax, import tariff, customs duty, merchandise, sales or use tax that must be paid in the country of destination, on or following import. You must comply without delay with all requirements imposed by any relevant tax authority (including any authority imposing, administrating or collecting any tax, duty, custom or levy in respect of the Item), export licensing authority and import authority. This includes, but is not limited to, exporting the Item from the UK within three months of the Invoice date if the sale is for export and zero-rated for VAT.
